Our Story

The story of Tabasheer Welfare Foundation (TWF) began with a simple, powerful vision: uplift communities through education. We saw many children in India struggling, and knew education could brighten their future.

Origins & Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from the timeless teachings of the Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We are guided by:

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

“Read in the Name of your Lord who created.” [Qur’an 96:1]

This verse and many Hadiths show how important learning is in Islam.

طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.”
[Sunan Ibn Majah 224]

Timeline of Milestones

2020 – TWF officially founded in Bihar, India.
2021 – First batch of scholarships awarded.
2022 – Launched school fee support and exam coaching programs.
2023 – Started girls’ health projects and orphan support.
2025 – Crossed 1,500 students helped across 18 districts.

Founder’s Profile

Dr. Md Rashid Alam(MBBS,NRSMC&H, KOLKATA) From Purnia is an educationist and social worker. He dreamed of equal opportunities for all—and turned his vision into action. His work in the Seemanchal region and beyond is about guiding youth, giving them hope, and serving the community.

• Create a fair, clear zakat collection and support system.

• Support orphans, teachers, and Imams with dignity.
• Encourage simple, dowry-free, and timely marriages.
